Beeswax wraps are a reusable, plastic free alternative to clingfilm and sandwich bags.
They are made from 100% cotton, locally sourced beeswax, pine resin and coconut oil.
The fabric is prepped and then coated in a mix of the wax resin and oil.
They will last on average 4-6 months, and at the end of this time can be cut up a put on the compost heap, so they really are zero waste!
Size: Medium (30x30cm approx)
Our supplier for these masks is Bee Better Wraps, based in Cardiff. Hannah makes all wraps herself by hand from home.
Anyone looking for ways to reduce the amount of single use plastic they consume at home. You can wrap the kid's sandwiches in them for school or use them to cover bowls/leftovers in the fridge at home.
Cling film contributes to the larger plastic pollution crisis. It is hard to recycle, and it’s made from potentially harmful chemicals, especially as they break down in the environment. A beeswax wrap is a great reusable alternative made from all natural materials which break down naturally.
